About me

I’m a former tech exec turned career strategist who helps high performers navigate job searches, land competitive roles, and communicate their value with confidence. I’ve led teams at high-growth companies like General Assembly and supported professionals at places like Harvard, A24, and Citi.

Now, I bring those same frameworks to students—breaking down what actually works in a modern job market. I cover everything from positioning and storytelling to strategic networking and navigating imposter syndrome in early roles.

Career centers bring me in when they want more than surface-level advice. I equip students with the tools and confidence to stand out, get hired, and build a career with direction from day one.

What’s Work with Ashley R.?

Work with Ashley R. is a boutique coaching practice built for high achievers navigating career growth, leadership transitions, and high-stakes opportunities. While I work with professionals at companies like A24, Disney, Simon & Schuster, Harvard, and more, I also partner with universities to bring this same level of strategy and clarity to emerging talent.

I teach students how to:

  • Position themselves for competitive roles and internships

  • Navigate early career decisions with strategy, not guesswork

  • Build confidence in interviews, networking, and leadership moments

The result? Students walk away with real-world insight, a clearer sense of direction, and the tools to make smart career moves from the start.
